WGS in a Nutshell

History

In 1998 in Ontario, Canada, Odds On was born as an eCommerce firm aimed at ensuring the safety clients' financial transactions over the internet. Then when it recognised just how lucrative the burgeoning online gambling industry was, it launched a successful java-based online gambling game development division.

And in 2003 Odds On merged with leading online gambling operator English Harbour Gaming Ventures to form Vegas Technology, which applied for and was granted a license by online gambling jurisdiction, Antigua and Barbuda. Since then, many popular Vegas Technology casinos have opened for business.

Games Overview

Like most leading online gambling game developers, to stay ahead in the extremely competitive online gaming industry, the game designers at WGS have over the years produced a vast portfolio of downloadable as well as Flash-based online casino games to suit the gambling tastes of most online gamblers.

For instance, in terms of the most popular slots available at Vegas Technology-powered online casinos, Cleopatra's Pyramid, Mermaids Quest, Dolphin King, Cupid's Arrow, City of Gold, Jurassic Slots, Love Bugs, Grail Maiden, Cherry Blossoms and Vampire Vixen have led the way. And progressive jackpot slots like Treasure Trail, Red White & Win, Mega Money Mine and Pay Dirt have paid out hundreds of thousands.

But slots aside, WGS is also renowned for its big range of other robust online casino games such as video poker, European Roulette, American Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, Keno and a host of other popular games.

Unfortunately, after the US authority crackdown on online gambling in 2011 known as 'Black Friday', many WGS-powered casinos were forced to shut down. However, there is hope they will one day start accepting players again.

Since that time a number of independent casinos have started to use the technology. We will feature those and and when they pass our scrutiny.

Software Features

As WGS's reputation spread as the designer and developer of top quality and reliable online casino games spread, so more and more online gambling operators chose the firm's software to power their sites. One that comes to mind is the legendary English Harbour Casino, which has unfortunately subsequently closed.

While Vegas Technology casinos have many attributes, one of the most striking is that their games have been designed with realistic and engaging graphics and sound effects, not too mention plenty of high-paying features which over the years have attracted online gamblers from far and wide. They are also known for offering generous welcome bonuses.
